SAMBA: Samba Warriors and Tiger Kabaddi Club dominated third day of the ongoing J&K Sports Council’s District Samba Premier league in the disciplines of volleyball and kabaddi respectively.
In volleyball matches played today, Samba Warriors defeated Barjani Club by 3-0 (25-19,25-23,25-20), Swankha by 3-1 (25-20,25-15,19-25,25-22) and Radha Krishna by 3-0 (25-15,25-20,25-19) while in kabaddi, Tiger Kabaddi Club defeated Sumbh Kabaddi Club by a margin of 19 points scoring 38-19 points and Samba Warriors by a margin of 12 points scoring 25-13 points.
VOLLEYBALL: Swankha Tiger defeated Radha Krishna by 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-16); Raya defeated Kho Brahmana by 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-20); Barjani defeated Radha Krishna by 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-22); Swankha Tigers defeated Kho Brahmana by 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-20); Barjani defeated Raya by 3-1 (25-18, 25-16, 19-25, 25-17); and Radha Krishna defeated Kho Brahmana by 3-0 (25-16, 25-19, 25-22);
The volleyball matches were officiated by the technical panel comprising Sat Paul, Bhanu Partap Singh, Kunal Verma, Nikhil Verma and Abi Sharma. General Secretary of the District Samba Volleyball Association along with other office bearers were also present during the matches.
KABADDI: Gurah Salathia Kabaddi Club beat Samba Warriors Club by six (18-24) points; Sumbh Kabaddi Club defeated Eagle Kabaddi Club by five (27-22) points; Eagle Kabaddi Club defeated Samba Warriors by 13 (20-07) points; Narsingh Kabaddi Club defeated Gurah Salathia Club by 27 (44-17) points; Gurah Salathia Kabaddi Club defeated Eagle Kabaddi Club by five (22-17) points.
Kabaddi matches were officiated by Anil Sharma, Krishan Singh, Keshav Singh and Amandeep Singh.
The matches were conducted under the overall supervision of S P Singh, District Samba Premier League Committee Head and Witnessed by General Secretary & President of District Samba Kabaddi Association.
