Trikuta Academy wins opening cricket tie

JAMMU: Trikuta Cricket Academy defeated Stephen Cricket Academy by two wickets in the opening match of the three-match series being held at Railway ground, here today.
Earlier, batting first, Stephens Academy won the toss and decided to bat first made 161 runs losing all their wickets in 28.3 overs of the 30 overs a side game.
Aditya Negi remained highest scorer with 46 runs while Vrishab Jamwal and Rajveer Jamwal contributed 20 runs each. From Trikuta Academy, Aditya Singh bagged three wickets for 21 runs in six overs while Mubassir took two.
In reply, Trikuta Club chased the target in 26.2 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Mubassir remained top scorer with 29 runs while Aditya Singh added 21. Vasu Lamba and Uttkarsh Gupta contributed 25 and 21 runs respectively.
Abhishek and Harshdeep claimed two wickets each from Stephen Academy.
For his all round performance of 21 runs and three wickets, Aditya Singh was named man of the match.
The match officiated by Balbir Singh and Siddharth under the supervision of Sukomal Ganguly, Head Coach.
