STATE TIMES NEWS NOWSHERA: In order to prevent the third wave and put an end to the COVID-19 pandemic, GDC Nowshera organised a special COVID-19 vaccination drive for the staff and eligible students in its campus for two days. The vaccination drive was carried out under the supervision of BMO sub-district Hospital, Nowshera and Dr. Chander Parkash. About 130 students of the college received their first dose of vaccination. It is mandatory for the staff and the students to go for the COVID-19 vaccination before the opening of the colleges. COVID-19 vaccination will help save lives, stabilize health systems and drive economic recovery, but COVID appropriate behavior and core public health measures – Detect, Test, Trace, Isolate and Treat will have to continue till the pandemic is over. The overall process of vaccination was carried out with the co-operation of staff members and under the supervision and guidance of the Principal of the college, Dr. Surinder Kumar following COVID appropriate behavior.
