JAMMU: Senior BJP leader, Ex-President BJP J&K and Ex-MP Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas on Wednesday said that Narendra Modi led BJP Government is committed towards the upliftment of weak and deprived people of J&K and the country on the whole. He also said that central government has taken each and every possible step to provide relief to the people affected by COVID 19.
He thanked PM Modi for free vaccinations and gor the extension of Pradhan Mantri Greeb Kalayan Anna Yojana till Diwali which provides free ration to the crores of BPL families across the country during this pandemic.
Shamsher was speaking during a programme organized by the people of Raipur Domana in Muthi.
While addressing the gathering, Manhas said that it the responsibility of every citizen to counter the challenges faced by the society during this pandemic and to work for common cause for better upliftment.
He said that every Indian should contribute in making our country developed. He urged the Karyakartas of BJP to spread awareness among the people about the various welfare schemes launched by the Modi government and help the people in availing those welfare schemes as well.
