JAMMU/LEH: To commemorate the golden jubilee of battle honour Turtuk, Ladakh Scouts Regt. Center organised a week-long grand event from August 22 to 28, 2021 at Leh.
K.K Gandhi, an internationally acclaimed artist famous for his live painting, had been invited to participate in all the functions which included Darbar function, excellent display by the drummers, sworning Vijay Mashal parade, laying of wreath ceremony to martyrs, bike rally flag off, unveiling of ceremonial things, functions for families and sky show.
As a special honour, K.K Gandhi’s masterpiece painting which was created live “Title – Land of Buddha” was unveiled by Lt. Governor R.K Mathur and in the same function Lt. Governor felicitated K.K Gandhi by presenting him with a Battle of Honour medal in recognition of his magical live art skill. At the facilitation function Army Commander Northern Command, GOC 14 Corps, GOC Sub Area, Major General besides all other senior officers and ranks were also present.
