RAJOURI: Choudhary Club Bagla won the Mohd Aslam Volleyball Tournament beating Asan Volleyball Club 3-2 (25-15; 19-25; 18-25; 25:13;15-08) in the final.
The event was organised by the Gorsi Volleyball Club Rajouri under the aegis of District Volleyball Association and sponsored by Kassana General Store Jawarnaga. In total, 10 teams took part in this competition.
In the final, Manager Sports Stadium Rajouri, Bashir Ahmed was Chief Guest, who along with Guests of Honour, Maqbool Choudhary of Fire and Emergency Department, Abdul Majid (Headmaster), Dr Ashan ul haq.
The closing event was attended besides others by special guests, Mushtaq Choudhary, Shabir Hussain and Khalil Gorsi.
The chief Guest highlighted the role of Mohd Tariq in promoting the game of VOLLEYBALL in the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch.
Those present on the occasion were Khalid Hussain, Jameel Hussain MS Azad, Mohd Dilmir, Shabaz, Zubair Malik and Asif Choudhary.
Considering their performance, the penal of judges declared Sajjad Majeed as best Setter, Rahul Dev Singh as best Libro and Rahil Malik as Player of the Tournament.
