Cluster programme for farmers organised

AKHNOOR: Suresh Sharma, member District Development Council, conducted the organic cluster program on behalf of the Agriculture Department Akhnoor in village Ghadgal of Block Maira Mandrian and dedicated the maize thresher machine costs Rs 50,000 to the Panchayat Maira Mandrian.
Suresh Sharma while addressing the farmers and people said,” this is a good initiative from the Department of Agriculture, we can get many benefits by doing organic farming. We use urea fertilizers, medicines and other disinfectant things, which directly affects our health, which causes diseases like BP, sugar, through organic farming, we can avoid all these things by preparing our own manure.” Suresh Sharma said ,”a lot of farmers can get benefits in this cluster, the period of this cluster will be about 3 years, in which free of cost pesticides, fertilizers and other things will be provided from time to time by the Agriculture Department”.
SADO Akhnoor Surender Bhatt, Mandal President Dr. Ram Lal, Sarpanch Rashpal Sharma, Sarpanch Tarlochan Dutt, AEO Yogesh Mehta, AEO Garu Ram, AEA Ramlal Sharma and AEA Jatinder Singh, Gen. Sectt. Chanchal Singh, Naib Sarpanch Om Parkash, Naib Sarpanch Uttam Singh, Panch Puran Chand, Skinder Lal, Ajay Kumar, Laxman Dass, Chaman Lal and officers of Agriculture Department were present on all the farmers.
