JAMMU: A Medical Camp cum Covid awareness camp for the Ex-Servicemen, Veer Naris and NOKs was organised by Tiger Division at Govt Girls High School, Raipur, Satwari in District Jammu. During the Medical Camp Ex-Servicemen, Veer-Naris and Next of Kins gathered in huge numbers. The activities started with interaction cum health check-up followed by addressing their grievances.
The Medical Camp started with the interaction by Brig NR Pandey with Ex-Servicemen, Veer-Naris, Next of Kins, Dr SP Verma, Padmashree, Dr Suresh Kr Sharma, Assistant Director AAYUSH, Lady Doctors of Army Wives Welfare Associations(AWWA) and Doctor specialists from civil administration followed by health check up of aspirants at various clinics established i.e. Physician, Orthopedics, Ophthalmologist, Gynecologist, ENT, Dentist, AAYURVEDA, AAYUSH Wellness wherein the effort was to expose the treatment of AAYUSH to general public.
The event culminated with the much needed diagnosis, provision of medicines and addressing of grievances. The gathering appreciated the efforts put in by Indian Army for providing an opportunity to discuss health as well as personal issues and provision of remedial measures that can be taken to eradicate the same for a better and prosperous relation between us.
