JAMMU: District Congress Committee (DCC) Jammu Rural mourned the demise of Choudhary Fateh Mohammad, former two-time MLC of Congress. He passed away on January 7 at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
In this connection, a condolence meeting was held on Saturday in which former minister Mula Ram, DCC Rural President, Hari Singh Chib and J&KPYC President Uday Bhanu Chib along with party workers paid tributes to the veteran leader.
The former Minister Mula Ram recalled the contribution of Choudhary Fateh Mohammad towards welfare of the people in different capacities.
Hari Singh Chib said that Choudhary Fateh Mohammad will be remembered for his integrity, commitment and dedication towards the service of people and his efforts to strengthen the party.
Uday Chib expressed his profound grief and shock over the sad demise of Choudhary Fateh Mohammad and described him as a dedicated and sincere person who devoted his entire life in the service of people.
The participants observed two minutes silence and prayed to God to grant eternal peace to the departed soul. They also prayed to God to give courage to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.
