JKBOSE declares class 11th result of Annual Regular, Summer Zone Session 2022 of Jammu Division

66 % students qualify the exam; girls outshine boys again

Next in the series of result declaration, J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE) declared the result of Higher Secondary Examination Part I (Class 11th), Session Annual, Regular, 2022 Summer Zone of Jammu Division today after the successful conduct of examination and evaluation processes which completes the examination process of 11th class 2022.

JKBOSE had given a concession of 30% in the syllabi to the students who had to attempt only 70% marks from the question paper which was treated as 100% for result computation as per Notification no F(Acad-C)relax/Syllabi/X/XI/XII/21 dated 13-08-2021 followed by notification no. F(Acad-C)relax/Syllabi/X/XI/ XII/21 dated:- 27-08-2021. 51108 candidates had appeared in the said examination out of which 33591 have been declared qualified constituting 66% of the total examinees. Out of total examinees, 28768 were Boys and 22340 were Girls. Girls have excelled again by scoring a pass percentage of 71% against 62 pass % of boys.

Chairman JKBOSE has expressed his satisfaction over the entire examination process. “It is heartening to know that girls have again outshined boys. The students have worked hard despite COVID-19 challenges. I acknowledge the contribution of entire divisional and district level administrative machinery, whole team of the officers and officials of JKBOSE Jammu Division and teachers who have tirelessly contributed for the flawless conduct of examination followed by cooperation in evaluation. Those students who could not make it this time should try again with revised strategies,” he said.

Secretary JKBOSE also congratulated the successful students and appreciated the cooperation of all the stakeholders for successful completion of this examination process with the declaration of result.

            In order to facilitate the access of students to the result gazette, the JKBOSE has made adequate arrangements through various media. The result is available online on the official website of JKBOSE www.jkbose.nic.in and on www.indiaresults.com as well. The candidates can also avail SMS facility by sending the text message to 5676750 by typing jkbose11 followed by a space and Roll No. e.g., “ jkbose11  Roll No.”.  Those who don’t have access to Mobile Phones or internet can get their results from their nearest JKBOSE office where the soft copies of result gazettes have been provided. The result is also available in the offices of the Deputy Commissioners of the concerned districts for the convenience of the students and general public. In case of any query regarding this result, the students have been advised to avoid visiting the JKBOSE office Jammu physically. However, they can email their query at jssecrecy_jd@jkbose.co.in citing all the relevant details which shall be addressed after due processing at the earliest possible. The aggrieved students, if any, can contact their respective schools or the nearest JKBOSE Sub/Branch office. JKBOSE provides an opportunity to the students to get a photocopy and re-evaluation of their answer sheets for which they can apply online after the notification is issued in this regard.
