Leaders are not born, they are made: Principal JKPS Kunjwani

JAMMU: The newly elected Prefects Council from Grades XI, X & IX at JKPS Kunjwani established the fact that “leaders are not born, they are made”. All the 36 elected members of the Council from Grade XI were introduced to the audience for the first time. They are waiting eagerly for 9th September 2022, when they will receive their badges during the Investiture ceremony.
Principal, Rajesh Rathore appreciated the Institution JKPS for instilling leadership traits in them. He applauded the teachers for providing students a sound knowledge base, strong linguistic competence, critical & creative thinking, unsurpassed confidence level, rational yet humble persona, aesthetics, music, fitness and stamina. “Leadership opportunities at early stages play a predominant role in the life of every student”, he reflected.
“The motto of JKPS Kunjwani is ‘Grooming Future Leaders’. It’s our moral responsibility to empower every student on the rolls of Institution with the requisite leadership traits, like, knowledge, oratory, confidence, sense of initiative, courage, creativity, responsibility, social contribution & global citizenship. Therefore, the identification of natural talent in every child, its befitting empowerment and mentoring them in a positive direction is the duty of every futuristic institution as well as the responsible educators”, he added.
“Class monitorship, membership of Prefects’ Council, Cultural Committee, Discipline Committee, Sports Committee, Science Exhibition Committee, Art Exhibition committee etc strongly inculcate the leadership traits in children”, he further added.
He congratulated the worthy founders of the school for laying the foundation stone of JKPS, which has emerged as a Trendsetter, a model of excellence imparting 21 century holistic education. He lauded the learned teachers of JKPS Kunjwani for the exceptional grooming of JKiians and for ensuring that a creative, competent, compassionate, responsible global citizenry passes out from its hallowed portals.
