JAMMU: Poonch Taekwondo Academy in support with those associated with the game today celebrated World Taekwondo Day by involving around 100 young boys and girls in the special event.
The event took place under the supervision of Amit Sharma, joint secretary Poonch District Taekwondo Association (PDTA). Speaking to the gathering of young players, Taekwondo coach and a staffer of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Rajinder Singh said that Poonch contributed to the game of Taekwondo with a lot of youngsters taking up the sports in a big way.
Makhan Lal Bhaglal, President PDTA, Prem Prakash Luthra, Senior Vice President; Ronik Sharma, Vice President, Taranpreet Kour, General Secretary; Parveen Kour, Treasurer; Amit Sharma, Joint Secretary and Ashaq Hussain, Organising Secretary congratulated all on World Taekwondo Day.
