SAMBA: A three-day volleyball Tournament was organized by the Army’s Mission First Brigade at Jarain, a border village in Rajpura Tehsil of Samba district.
Ten teams from Hiranagar and Ghagwal sub division participated in the Tournament.
The final match was played between the teams of Hiranagar Volleyball Club and Sanoora Volleyball Club on the last day of the Tournament on Friday evening. Hiranagar won the final match 3-0.
Army officials said that the army is with the youth of the frontier region, under Operation Sadbhavna to improve mutual coordination, organizes sports competitions.
Suresh Basotra, Sarpanch Rajpura, Vinay Sharma Sarpanch, Rakesh Singh, Chowki officer Rajpura, KK Khajuria Chowki officer sherpur, Parshotam Sharma Naib Sarpanch Rajpura and a large number of youth of the area were present.
