A nearly 100-year-old suspension bridge over the Machchhu River in Gujarat’s Morbi collapsed on Sunday. As many as 134 people have been reported dead so far, while two are missing, the police said. Search and rescue operations are under way. PM Modi will visit Morbi on Tuesday. An investigation panel has, meanwhile, been formed to probe the incident.
