Shraddha murder case live: Aaftab reaches forensic laboratory for polygraph test

Officials of the forensics laboratory could not conduct a polygraph test on Aaftab Poonawala on Wednesday after he complained about feeling unwell. Police will now try and get the test conducted on Thursday. Sagar Preet Hooda, special commissioner of police (Law & Order), confirmed the postponement of the test. “We didn’t conduct the polygraph test today,” he said. On Tuesday afternoon, preliminary tests on the murder accused were carried out by a team of five, including three psychologists and two assistants. They tried to “normalise the brain” before the polygraph test, officials explained. The session was held inside a lab with acoustic walls and no police personnel were allowed inside.
