Q2 GDP live: Indian economy grows 6.3% in July-September quarter

The gross domestic product data casts light on the health of the economy as pandemic related disruptions ease and the government steps up spending in the hope that private spending and investments will follow. In the previous quarter, GDP had expanded by 13.5%, its fastest pace in a year. Nominal GDP or GDP at current prices in Q1 2022-23 is estimated at Rs 64.95 lakh crore, as against Rs 51.27 lakh crore in Q1 2021-22, showing a 26.7 per cent growth, against 32.4 per cent in Q1 2021-22.
