India’s veteran table tennis player Sharath Kamal has been conferred with the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna award for his outstanding performance in the Commonwealth Games 2022. He won three gold medals and a silver at the Birmingham CWG and is the sole recipient of India’s highest sporting honour this year.
