SAMBA, Jan 29: Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (Social Wing of Sant Nirankari Mission) organized a volunteer blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Vijaypur to spread the message of Nirankari Baba that ‘blood should flow in veins and not in drains’.
Devotees from local branches of the Mission-Bishnah, Ramgarh and Pandorian also participated in the camp inaugurated by Ranjeet Singh, Deputy Commissioner State Tax Kathua and Rakesh Dubey, Additional Deputy Commissioner Samba.
Speaking on the occasion Rakesh Dubey said that blood donation is the highest of all donations.
He lauded the enthusiasm of devotees who were eager to donate their blood selflessly.
Ajit Singh, Zonal Incharge, Zone-1 Jammu delivered vote of thanks and highlighted other charitable and socio-economic activities organized by the Mission from time to time.
Sat Paul, Mukhi branch Vijaypur also spoke on the occasion while Dr. Anshu Mahajan, Dr. Anuradha Rajwal from Blood Bank GMC Jammu, B.R Lachotra, former Director General Planning; Ramesh Kumar (Executive Engineer) and others were also present on the occasion.
The Camp was held in collaboration with Blood & Transfusion Department of Government Medical College Jammu, Indian Red Cross Society and JKSACS.
