Vehicle-lifter among two flee from Bhatindi police post lockup; 4 cops attached

JAMMU: A vehicle-lifter and a thief managed to flee from the lockup of Police Post Bhatindi on Tuesday surprisingly after breaking a wall without being noticed by anyone in heavily guarded police post.
A departmental inquiry has been ordered while four cops have been attached.
The vehicle-lifter Muzamil and his associate was arrested from Bhatindi area last week. Muzamil was being interrogated to make recovery of stolen bikes, cars and other items.
Sources informed that the notorious vehicle-lifter Muzamil and his associate used a small iron road which they probably managed to get from a washroom door adjoining the lockup. The accused made four feet long hole in wall before fleeing from the police post.
It is very strange that the arrestee managed to make such a huge hole before fleeing from police lockup. Jammu police has strengthened the police nakas and making efforts to nab the duo. Meanwhile,. the police has ordered departmental inquiry into the incident while four cops deployed at the police post have been attached till further orders.
