In a major development, a joint team of Special Operation Group (SOG) and Kaudhiyara police gunned down a shooter, wanted in connection with Umesh Pal murder case, in an encounter near Kaudhiyara area in the trans-Yamuna pocket of Prayagraj district early Monday.
