JKPS Panjtirthi celebrates Holi with gusto

JAMMU: JK Public School (JKPS) Panjtirthi celebrated Holi with great gusto. Nisha Chopra, the Incharge of the Celebration, talked about several myths and stories related to the festival.
A splendid dance performance by the students of class 4th enthralled the audience. Jakiians exhibited a well- knitted skit to celebrate the divine love of Radha for Krishna.
Few jakians recited poems to highlight that the bright colours of Holi are believed to signify energy, life and love.
Another enaction on the theme “Holi is the apt time to renew relationships and to express love and affection time to love and forgive ” was presented by the jakiians.
The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah remarked, “This festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring and the end of winter.”
She further expressed,”Spread the colours of compassion, happiness, kindness and positivity where ever you go in life. Make every day of your life as bright and colourful like this festival. Wish you all a Happy Holi”.
