Amritpal’s Gunman Booked For Trying To Get Gun Licence Renewed Using Fake Documents In J&K’s Kishtwar

JAMMU, Mar 30: An FIR has been registered in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district against a gunman of Fugitive Khalistani leader and Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh, who tried to get his gun licence renewed using fake documents. According to Kishtwar police, the gunaman identified as Virendra Singh received his gun licence from Kishtwar in 2014.
The Deputy Commissioner cancelled the licence and FIR was registered in Kishtwar Police station. “A gun license was issued in the name of Virendra Singh in 2014. His license was cancelled after Punjab police wrote to Kishtwar DC. He had used fake documents to renew the license. It was found that a gun license was misused,” SSP Kishtwar Khalil Poswal said.
