JAMMU: Justice (Retd) Sunil Hali on Friday joined as Chairperson, Fee Fixation Committee.
Justice (Retd) Sunil Hali was appointed as Chairperson of Committee for Fixation and Regulation of Fee of Private Schools, for a period of three years.
The post was lying vacant since November 2022 after the term of the Chairman, Justice Muzafar Husain Attar had ended. “In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20-A of the Jammu and Kashmir School Education Act 2002 read with Jammu and Kashmir Private Schools (Fixation Deter-mination and Regulation of Fee) Rules 2022, the Government of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir appointed Justice (Retired) Sunil Hali as Chairperson of the Committee for Fixation Determination and Regulation of Fee of Private Schools for a term of three years from the date on which he enters upon office,” reads a communiqué S.O. 168 notification issued by Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary, School Education Department. “The term of office and other conditions of service of the Chairperson shall be governed by the Jammu and Kashmir Private Schools (Fixation, Determination and Regulation of Fee) Rules, 2022,” it added.
