Samba police arrests 2 notorious bootleggers

SAMBA, May, 20 : Samba police, in its drive against the sale of illicit liquor, has arrested two notorious bootleggers and recovered 78 bottles of illicit liquor from their possession.
The arrested bootleggers have been identified as Rajinder Kumar son of BansiLal of Gho Brahmana, tehsil Ramgarh district Samba and Raja Singh son of Sardar Singh of Rara tehsil Ramgarh district Samba.
Two separate FIR No. 27/2023 u/s 48 (a) Excise Act & FIR No. 28/2023 48 (f) Excise Act have been registered at Police Station, Ramgarh and investigations have been started.
The arrests have been made by police team comprising of PSI Vikrant Kotwal, PSI, Ravi Kant, PSI, Anjum Hussain, SHO Police Station, Ramgarh, Sudesh Kumar and in charge district NDPS Team, Sumit Sharma under the supervision of Deputy SP, Garu Ram Bhardwaj and Additional SP Samba, Surinder Choudhary.
Samba Police has arrested several notorious bootleggers involved in sale of illicit liquor in past four months and police is continuously and vigorously conducting raids to apprehend the wrongdoers in the district on the directions of SSP Samba Benam Tosh.
