Dushyant’s led India team leaves for FIVB World U-21 Men’s Championship

JAMMU: Dushyant Singh’s led India men’s volleyball team left for FIVB World U-21 Men’s Volleyball Championship to be held at Bahrain from July 7 to 16, 2023.
Prof. (Dr.) Achyuta Samanta, Member of Parliament & President, Volleyball Federation of India and Founder KIIT & KISS University has provided support for the smooth conduct of the coaching camp for the team and extended his good wishes to the team members for the medal winning performance in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U-21 World Championship.
The Team: Dushyant Singh (Captain), Bharanidharan. S, Sandeep, Md Razza, Sameer Chaudhary, Tanish Choudhary, Harshit Giri, Aman Kumar, Sachin Dagar, Karthikeyan. K (L), Ajeet Shekho and Yougank Baliyan.

It is pertinent to mention here that India qualified for the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championships after winning a silver at the Asian Men’s U20 Volleyball Championship, losing to Iran in the final in Riffa, Bahrain. In addition to the medal, Indian captain Dushyant Singh from Rajasthan was also felicitated with the ‘best blocker’ award during the Asian Men’s U20 Volleyball Championship.
Meanwhile, Chief Patron Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kashmir, Raj Daluja, President, Sidharth Daluja, CEO besides Kuldip Magotra and other office bearers also congratulated selected team and officials and wished team best of luck for the championship.
