Foreign Universities visit JK Public School Kunjwani for Career Counselling Fair

JAMMU: Career Counselling has become very important these days to help students climb up the ladder of success in life. Providing professional guidance can help students to set their professional goals by making right career choices. With career counselling programme, students can look out for the best suitable Colleges and Universities which may put them in right trajectory and escalate their career prospects.
With this aim, a career-counselling fair was held in the premises of JK Public School Kunjwani, wherein representatives from various globally renowned universities visited, namely, Xavier University Cincinnati, Ohio; Toronto Metropolitan University; Ashoka University; Indian Institute of Arts & Design; Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis! World University of Design; Thapar University; Mahindra University, Bennett University, ESSEC Business School, Paris France; Indian School of Hospitality; Alliance University; GD Goenka University; BML Munjal University and they discussed about the career choices of students as per their aptitude and interest.
College/ University representatives gave a comprehensive account of the salient features of their University alongwith the courses available for the Languages, Arts, Engineering, Architecture, Science, Management etc. They not only talked about the courses, faculty, infrastructure etc. but also apprised the students about the study and work culture in these top-notch Universities.
Students were given an insight to the Under Graduate, Graduate and Post Graduate courses & criteria for selection. They even spoke about the financial aid and scholarships provided over there.
In all, the workshop was an eye opener for the students as they were quite impressed by the workshop.
Principal Rajesh Rathore appreciated the Director, ICAE Nazir and all the representatives from the Globally renowned universities for organizing the Career Counselling fair brilliantly. He applauded the Univ reps for a patient hearing & commendable doubt clearing session.
Nazir praised the students of JKPS Kunjwani for their curiosity, queries and active participation. He promised to have the second round of Career Counselling fair for the promising students. They were highly impressed with the school building standing tall with architectural marvel, pervading greenery and pleasant ambience at JKPS Kunjwani. They left the campus happily and contented.
