Lawyer sends ‘unprepared’ junior to hearing, fined Rs 2,000

The Chief Justice of India-led bench has decided to impose a cost of Rs 2,000 on an advocate for seeking adjournment of a hearing at the last minute through an unprepared junior advocate. The junior advocate appeared without the case file and could not answer any queries about the case.
