15 Isis terrorists held; accused ‘declared’ village ‘liberated zone’

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) made significant strides in its crackdown on the Isis terrorist network by arresting 15 terrorists in raids across Maharashtra and Karnataka. Among those arrested is the leader of an active Isis module, responsible for administering the ‘bayath’ to newly recruited members. The NIA seized cash, firearms, weapons, documents, smartphones, and digital devices during the raids. The arrested individuals were members of the Isis Maharashtra module and were actively involved in various terrorist activities, including the fabrication of explosive devices. Investigations revealed that they operated from Padgha-Borivali.
