Following the grounding of a Dubai-Nicaragua flight in France, which was suspected of human smuggling and had 303 Indian passengers including 96 Gujaratis, a subsequent group of 30 Gujaratis in Dubai cancelled their plans to board a charter flight to Nicaragua, opting to return to India. Sources indicate that these charter flights are part of a scheme by illegal immigration agents to assist people in entering the US after arriving in Nicaragua. The group of 30 Gujaratis would possibly have been in Managua, the capital of Nicaragua.
