Shiksha Manch Jammu organizes ‘Kavya Goshthi’

JAMMU, May 19: Shiksha Manch Jammu Division, J&K, part of Mahila Kavya Manch, organised its first Kavya Goshthi (poetry seminar) on virtual medium, in which various professors working in the field of teaching belonging to Jammu region participated.
The chief guest of the seminar was Dr Jyoti Sharma, Vice President of Shiksha Manch, Chandigarh, who recited her poem remembering the great mothers and women incarnated from Vedic era to Dwapar era, Sita Maa, Ahilya Devi, Draupadi, Kaushalya Maa, Devaki Maa and gave her valuable comments.
On this occasion, founder of the forum, Dr Naresh Naz sent his best wishes. Remembering her mother, poem lines “Woh maa hai kahan kuch kha paati hai” were shared by Dr Anshula Garg, chairperson of the Shiksha Kavya Manch, Jammu division and Professor at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication.
Dr Archana Kumari, Associate Professor, JNU, Delhi, National General Secretary of Mahila Kavya Manch, Suman Pal, Dr Shalini Rana, Professor, Government College of Education, Jammu, Dr Aruna Sharma and Nikita Gupta, a student of IIMC presented their poems.
