JAMMU, June 6: The Divyang students of the School for Hearing Handicapped run by Samaj Kalyan Kender, Jammu (NGO) have registered a cent percent result in 12th Class. The BOSE has declared the result today.
Out of 14 Deaf & Dumb students who appeared in 12th class examination, five have got distinction and remaining nine came first class. Ananya Thappa is the school topper with 80 % marks. Those Divyang who got distinctions included Garima Misri, Rohit Thakur, Zeshan Ali & Sonam Chib.
The Samaj Kalyan Kender (SKK) has announced a cash award for Class toppers. Similar cash award for class toppers of BOSE conducted examinations has been instituted by a charitable Trust, Smt Gian Devi Jandial Charitable Trust.
B K Raina, Advisor to SKK has donated Rs two lakhs to institute Awards & scholarships for poor & meritorious students in memory of his wife Santosh Raina. The SKK has also instituted cash awards to the teachers whose subjects the 12th class students got distinction.
The President K B Jandial & entire SKK fraternity have congratulated the successful students for their outstanding performance in 12th class examination. They also hailed the hard work put in by the teachers & the support extended by parents to the school that made this brilliant result possible. For the last seven to eight years the School is achieving cent percent results with 40 % of them getting distinctions.
