Search ops after suspects seen in Sumb

SAMBA, June 15: A search operation was launched today in Sumb area after two suspects were allegedly seen in the area by a local woman.
According to the reports, two suspects were allegedly seen by a woman at Nanetar village of Sumb Kandi area who came at the entrance of their gate and asked her for food and water.
The woman got scared and went inside the house. When other members of the house came out, the suspects were nowhere around and therefore, they immediately called the police.
On getting information, SSP Samba Vinay Kumar, SP Surinder Chaudhary, DySP Bhisham Dubey, SHO Samba and many other officers reached the spot and took stock of the situation. At the same time, information about this was given to the SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police.

DySP SOG Garu Ram reached the spot with his team and started the search operation. The SOG team searched the entire area with the help of drones and the search operation continued till late evening.
The forest area of the village where two suspects were seen meets the forests of Sohal and Saida villages and it is also expected that these two people might have come wandering from the same area. After this incident, panic gripped the entire village and its surrounding villages.
