JAMMU, June 28: A grenade was recovered and later diffused in Pallanwal area of this district today.
A police official said that some farmers spotted a rusted grenade while working in their fields at Chowki Dhar Mohalla in Khara area of Pallanwala and informed police around 12 noon.
Accordingly, a team of Police Post Pallanwala reached at the spot and diffused the grenade with the help of Bomb Disposal Squad of the Army in a deserted location in Khad area, he said.
