UDHAMPUR, June 30: Rehambal Police has rescued seven bovines and seized a vehicle used for their smuggling.
As per the reports, a team of Police Post Tikri foiled a bovine smuggling bid in which 7 bovines were rescued and a vehicle bearing registration number JK20C-1172 seized from Tikri Chowk. The accused person (driver of the vehicle) fled away from the spot after leaving behind his vehicle on the road.
In this regard, a case FIR under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Rehambal and further investigation started.
