MOSCOW, July 1: Russian President Vladimir Putin is preparing for the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) that will take place in the Kazakh capital of Astana from July 3-4, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.
“The preparations are certainly underway for the SCO summit, which will be held in Astana this week,” Peskov told reporters.
The SCO is one of the international institutions that Russia views as a priority, the Kremlin spokesman said.
