UDHAMPUR, July 4: Four cops were injured in a road accident here today near Champari Highway in Chenani.
According to sources a Police escort vehicle of Gypsy make bearing registration number JK02BR 1500 was hit by a Dumper bearing registration number JK19A-3235 leaving four Policemen in the Gypsy injured.
The injured cops were identified as Chandershekhar Parihar, son of Late Ramesh Kumar; HC Rajesh Parihar, son of Jagdish Raj of Kishtwar, SgCt. Anil Parihar, son of Des Raj of Palmar, Kishtwar and SgCt Babu Ram, son of Mohan Lal of Palmar, Kishtwar.
All the injured were shifted to CHC Chenani for treatment.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
