J&K Police warns of increased water levels in rivers, streams

JAMMU, July 4: The J&K Police have issued a warning about rising water levels in rivers and streams, highlighting the significant risks posed by fast-flowing waters.
Through an advisory, residents are advised to avoid walking, swimming, or driving through these waters and to stay updated with weather alerts.
“Those living near affected areas should have an emergency plan and follow evacuation orders promptly. In emergencies, call 100 or reach the nearest police station for assistance,” a warning issued by the police read.
