Multilingual Poetry Session organized

JAMMU, July 4: Shree Vishwakarma Library & Research Centre New Plot and Vishwakarma Temple Committee Digiana here today jointly organized a ‘Multilingual Poetry Session’ and felicitated Vijay Verma, Sahitya Academy Awardee and a renowned Dogri writer.
The Session was chaired by Dr. Chanchal Bhasin, renowned Dogri Writer and Poet and 18 poets participated in it which included Dr. Chanchal Bhasin, Pawan Verma, Dr. Anil Mandla, Neelam Verma, Balwant Kataria, Aarsh Om Dalmotra, Raj Kumar Raaz, Rattan Bhardwaj, Avtar Chand Verma, Madan Bral, Neha Verma, Vijay Verma, Sushil Begana, Dharam Pal, Meenakshi Devi, Som Nath Azaad, Abdul Qader Kundria and Ram Pal Dogra. Each poet was given participation certificate.
Vijay Verma was honoured with a shawl and memento for receiving Sahitya Academy Award.
Speaking on the occasion Balwant Kataria talked about Vijay Verma and said that he had started his poetry in Dogri, Hindi and English long back in school days.
Ramesh Angotra, Mohinder Lal, president of the Temple Committee and Ram Pal Chargotra, general secretary from Digiana Temple distributed participation certificates to the participating poets.
Earlier the welcome address was delivered by Joginder Angotra while Balwant Kataria conducted proceedings and Om Kataria presented vote of thanks.
Ajay Verma, Raj Chalotra, Surinder Kumar, Kewal Fotra, president Sain Sabha, Manshu Kataria, Master Kuldeep Raj Malhotra, Divyansh Dhiman and others were also present on the occasion.
