VDG opens firing in Rajouri

RAJOURI, July 5: A Village Defence Guard (VDG) opened firing after observing suspicious movement at village Jamola in this district tonight.
The VDG fired shots from his weapon around 9.30 pm.

Immediately thereafter, Army and police reached the spot and launched search operation which was going on till midnight.
However, the suspects were not observed, the officials said.
