AJKSAD players shine at Int’l trials in Indore

JAMMU, July 6: The players of All Jammu and Kashmir Sports Association of Deaf (AJKSAD) displayed spectacular performance at the recent international trials held in Indore.
Out of the nine players who represented the Association, four emerged victorious. Rakesh Singh in below 66 kg category and Sonam Chiba in below 70 kg secured 1st place in their respective categories, demonstrating exceptional skill and dedication. Additionally, Shikha Kumari in below 52 kg earned a well-deserved 2nd place and Rohit Kumar earned 3rd place in below 60 kg weight category.
These athletes have been diligently training under the expert guidance of chief Judo coach Suraj Bhan Singh of J&K Sports Council at MA Stadium Jammu for many years. Jatinder Singh who earned 2nd place in below 60 kg weight category has practiced under Judo coach Danish Sharma of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
