POONCH: Poonch celebrated after four young and talented boys from Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Hockey Club found place in the J&K UT team for the upcoming 2nd Hockey India Sub Junior North Zone National Championship.
These players from the remote border district are Harmandeep Singh, Prabal Sharma, Ramajot Singh, and Gurpreet Singh. The National event is scheduled to be held at Jhansi in UP.
“This achievement is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and passion for the sport. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hockey J&K for providing these exceptional players with a wonderful opportunity to showcase their talent and gain valuable exposure on a national platform,” said coach of the Club, Matinder Pal Singh.
He termed the selection a triumph for Poonch and a motivation for future generations to pursue their dreams in Hockey.
