JKBOA submits memorandum to GM over wage settlement

JAMMU, July 26: A delegation of the Jammu Kashmir Bank Officers Association (JKBOA) Jammu unit, met with Divisional Head Sunit Gupta (GM), and submitted a memorandum resenting delay in the wage settlement agreed upon between banking trade unions and the Indian Banks Association on March 8, 2024.
The delegation also discussed the growing unease among the bank staff due to the delay in the implementation of the wage settlement.
The delegation comprised of Federation President Kapil Nanda, Unit President Anil Sharma, General Secretary Sunil Bhau, and office bearers Abishek Baru, Nikhil Grover, Hardutt, Satinder Kour, Sudesh Gupta and Pushp Raj Nagra. General Secretary Workmen Association Guneet Singh also accompanied the delegation.
Meanwhile, other affiliated units of the Federation in Kashmir, Delhi & Maharashtra have also submitted the similar memorandum to the J&K Bank Management through their respective Divisional Heads to expedite the implementation of the wage revision.
