‘Mata Ka Jagran’ organised at Chandi Mata Bhawan

KISHTWAR, July 26: In the ongoing pilgrimage of Shri Chandi Mata, Directorate of Tourism Jammu in association with District Administration Kishtwar and J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages here today organized a grand ‘Mata Ka Jagran’ at Shri Chandi Mata Bhawan, Machail under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav.
ADC Kishtwar, Pawan Kotwal along with CEO Kishtwar Development Authority, Dr. Rishi Kumar Sharma; AO DC Office, Satinder Kumar besides other officials from Machail Yatra Cell were also present to oversee and support the event which marked the presence of hundreds of devotees.
The night was filled with devotional fervour featuring live performances by renowned artists like Chaman Lehri and Daljeet Singh Rathore and their soulful renditions and devotional songs created a serene and divine atmosphere.
Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Devansh Yadav highlighted the cultural and spiritual significance of the annual Shree Machail Yatra and the importance of such events in fostering communal harmony and spiritual upliftment.
District Administration Kishtwar has made extensive arrangements to ensure the safe and comfortable pilgrimage of Shri Chandi Mata and medical facilities, security measures etc have been put in place.
‘Mata Ka Jagran’ at Shri Chandi Mata Bhawan brought together people from different walks of life to pay obeisance to the Goddess Chandi.
