Rajan Sharma nominated as Technical Observer for Paris Olympic

JAMMU, July 26: Rajan Sharma, former Divisional Sports Officer (DSO) of J&K Sports Council and an International Technical Official has been nominated as a Technical Observer for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. With a distinguished career that includes officiating at the World Boxing Championship, SAF Games, London 2012 Olympics, and many other prestigious tournaments, Sharma has significantly contributed to Indian sports. He also managed the Indian boxing team, including legendary boxer Mary Kom, at the World Boxing Championship in Russia.
Dr Ashutosh Sharma, President of the J&K Olympic Association and former Vice President of the Indian Olympic Association, congratulated Rajan Sharma on his nomination. He praised Sharma’s dedication and expertise, expressing gratitude to the Indian Olympic Association and the Boxing Federation of India for recognizing Sharma’s outstanding contributions.
