JAMMU: Festivals are a way to celebrate heritage, culture, and traditions. They are meant to rejoice special moments and emotions. They foster the spirit of social cohesion and fraternity; bring children together and energies their body, mind and spirit.
Keeping in view, the students from Primary Wing of JKPS Kunjwani celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great zeal and zest. The students made beautiful idols of Lord Ganesha with clay, and discussed various names of Lord Ganesha. This activity was aimed to signify the eco-friendly celebration of the occasion. The activity awakened devotion, creativity, understanding, and learning among children.
Director JK Educational Society, Shashi Chaudhary and Principal JKPS Kunjwani, Rajesh Rathore took a round of the wing and admired the talent of the children.
Principal applauded Anju Raj, Coordinator Preparatory Wing of JKPS Kunjwani and the teachers for inculcating the spirit secularism in children through creative endeavours, as every progressive school ensures a cosmopolitan culture within its school premises.
Having seen children so engrossed in making Ganesha idols from all the communities was so fulfilling and gratifying to the audience.
“May Lord Ganesh give you a rainbow for every storm, a smile for every tear, a promise for every care, and an answer to every prayer”, he wished for all the stakeholders of the school.
