JAMMU, Sept 20: Dr Swarupa Mitra, Director of the Radiation Oncology Department at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram, successfully conducted a cancer OPD today at Starmeds, located in Channi Himmat, Jammu.
The purpose of this OPD was to provide consultation and treatment for cancer-related symptoms such as lumps in the body, vomiting blood, difficulty swallowing, weight loss, and other serious conditions. A large number of patients benefitted from this OPD, receiving timely diagnoses and appropriate treatment advice.
Sharang Jasrotia, Executive Director, stated on the occasion, “Our goal is to provide high-quality medical services to patients battling serious illnesses like cancer in the Jammu region. This initiative by the specialists at Fortis will help local patients receive timely treatment.”
He also mentioned that specialists from the Oncology and Nephrology departments of Fortis Hospital Gurugram will organize OPD sessions every month in Jammu to ensure patients receive timely consultations and medical care.
