JAMMU: JK Public School Kunjwani celebrated Mahanavami, and Dusshera with great zeal and fervor. The school premises was filled with a festive spirit as students and staff came together to honor the triumph of good over evil through a series of engaging activities.

The program commenced with a prayer, setting a serene tone for the day, followed by the soulful rendition of the school song. The school choir then sang a mesmerizing Bhajan, filling the atmosphere with devotion and positivity.
Harneet Kaur addressed the gathering with a thoughtful and enlightening speech on the significance of Mahanavami and Dusshera, emphasizing the values of righteousness and courage these festivals symbolize.
The students of the Primary Wing performed a captivating skit depicting the epic tale of Ram and Ravan, leaving the audience thoroughly impressed with their talent and storytelling. The skit beautifully conveyed the importance of courage, justice, and resilience, which are central to these celebrations.
Following the skit, the next event showcased an introduction to the nine avatars of Goddess Durga, offering an insightful portrayal of each form’s significance and virtues. The day continued with a mesmerizing dance performance by Nayra Negi, whose graceful movements depicted the divine energy and spirit of the festivals.
In her address, Director JK Educational Society Shashi Chaudhary applauded the participants and faculty for their efforts, commending them for putting together a beautiful and well-executed event. She emphasized how these celebrations instill core values and thanked everyone for making it a day to remember. Her speech highlighted the importance of blending cultural learning with academic education to develop future leaders who are not only knowledgeable but also rooted in their traditions.
