AIMCCC’s concern over water scarcity in Durga Nagar

JAMMU, Oct 16: All India Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) in its meeting at Durga Nagar here, today expressed serious concern over the water scarcity being faced by the people of the area.
The meeting was presided over by Ramesh Tikoo area coordinator of the AIMCCC and it said that people from Sector One to Sector Four face acute water scarcity with authorities paying no attention to the same.
The meeting said that some time back the Department constructed a bore well in the area for water supply but till date the pipes were not laid with the result people are suffering badly.
The meeting urged the Jal Shakti Department to take immediate measures in laying the pipes so that the water supply issue is solved.
