JAMMU: Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Youth Services & Sports, Transport, S&T, IT and ARI & Trainings Satish Sharma thanked Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for empowering Jammu and giving them the deserving representation which was lacking over years. He quoted this while addressing a mammoth gathering at Dori Dager, Tehsil Kharaballi during maiden visit to his home constituency. Before conducting an exhaustive tour of various parts of Chhamb constituency, the Minister paid obeisance at Baba Mai Mal Devsthan at Panchayat Dori Dager and prayed for the development and prosperity of the region.

While speaking on the occasion, he said that CM Omar Abdullah has given the fair representation to Jammu in 70 years and we should be grateful to him. The Minister said that the recently formed government is committed towards fulfilling the developmental aspirations of people, while taking due care of their basic requirements. The Minister said that government is committed to equitable development of all regions of J&K and under the leadership of CM Omar Abdullah, the J&K will see a new era of development, growth and prosperity.
The Minister also appealed Prime Minister, central govt machinery to pay more attention to Jammu region, especially border areas in respect of development and progress. He asserted that LG administration has already initiated many flagship programmes and expressed hope that present government and LG administration will work in synergy and unison for the development of J&K and amelioration of people.
He stressed that the top leadership is willing to work for the betterment of Jammu and Kashmir and expressed hope that J&K would be blessed with many new projects in all sectors very soon.
Sharma, while appreciating the public for their firm support said that he will work with utmost dedication and vigour to bring enhanced development and prosperity in the region. He further reiterated that he will try to fulfill all promises made by him adding that he has already started exercise on some of the projects.
The Minister emphasized that employment to young educated youth is one of the top priorities of the present regime and the will leave no stone unturned to fullfill the aspirations of the people making their lives easy and better.
