Speaking to an enthusiastic gathering, Sethi strongly criticized the NC-Congress alliance for passing a resolution advocating for a dialogue on the restoration of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He described the resolution as an attempt to undermine the historical decision of abrogating Article 370, which the BJP implemented under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership to integrate Jammu and Kashmir fully with the rest of the country.
“BJP will never allow NC and Congress to fulfill their anti-national agenda. They are attempting to turn back the clock, but the people of Jammu and Kashmir have moved forward with a vision of peace, progress, and unity. Any attempt to restore Article 370 is a betrayal of the sacrifices made for a unified India, and the BJP will oppose it resolutely,” he added.
The senior BJP leader reiterated that the abrogation of Article 370 was a landmark decision that paved the way for unprecedented development, enhanced security, and integration of Jammu and Kashmir into India’s mainstream. He assured the people of the East Constituency that BJP would continue to stand guard against any policies that could destabilize the region or hinder progress.
Yudhvir also emphasized BJP’s commitment to preserve national integrity, countering divisive forces, and protecting the dignity of every citizen in Jammu and Kashmir. He urged people to reject the politics of division and stand with the BJP in its mission to uphold unity and progress. “We are here for development, peace, and a bright future for our youth. Together, we will defeat those who aim to disrupt our journey forward,” Sethi added.
